Jonathan Newman, Partner
Meet Jonathan
The firm is led by Senior Partner and founder Jonathan Newman MRICS who holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, a Masters in Commercial Property and is a qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He built up considerable knowledge and experience as Partner of a leading central London consultancy, dealing primarily with acquisitions, lease restructuring, rent reviews and lease renewals for a broad range of international and UK based organisations. He is a highly motivated ‘problem solver’ advising clients on a broad spectrum of property issues.
In early 2018, Jonathan’s entrepreneurial instincts and inner desire to run his own practise finally got the better of him and Newman & Co was born.
Jonathan grew up in London but currently resides in North Bucks with his wife and three children. He is a keen sports fan and an avid follower of Leyton Orient FC, often making the 3 hour round trip to their home games.
Meet Robert
Robert is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 30 years specialist experience dealing with commercial property, for many years running his own commercial consultancy practice. He has represented many international and national retailers and acted on several industrial estates.
In recent years Robert has acted as a consultant to a number of retail companies and start-up ventures in the retail and leisure sector advising on their expansion and business strategy. He also represents a number of landlord companies advising on their portfolios, asset management and investment strategy.
Robert enjoys sport and travel and in particular active holidays where he is able to keep up with the younger members of his family!!
